Your records should be easy to take with you.
How to use the free browser tools and keep a backup you control.
Know where a draft lives
These tools run in your browser. Typing into a form does not send the content to Creator Kamai. The “Save on this device” action uses browser storage. That storage belongs to this browser on this device; it is not an account or a cloud backup.
Export before you need a backup
Download a workspace JSON backup after meaningful changes. Keep it somewhere you can find again, and treat it as private if it includes client, payment or identity details. Clearing browser data, changing devices or using private browsing can remove local copies.
Use the right kind of export
The workspace backup is for restoring editable values. A downloaded document or printed PDF is for sharing a finished result. Check both before sending anything. In particular, review the recipient, amounts, dates and any details that should remain private.
Understand the retired account boundary
The free site does not fetch records from former Creator Kamai accounts. Its workspace import accepts the new free-tools JSON format, not a legacy database export. If you need assistance with an older account, use the contact link on the retirement page. Do not enter your old password into any tool here.
Put it into practice with a free tool.
