Creator Kamai

Terms of Service

Last updated 15 July 2026

Written in plain English on purpose, and reviewed as the product grows. If anything here changes in a way that affects you, we tell you inside the app first.

What this is

Creator Kamai is a set of business tools for content creators: deal tracking, invoicing, payment follow-ups, tax estimates, a media kit, and a community directory. It is operated from India by Tomorrow Tribe (Purandhar Gopalakrishnan). You must be 18 or older to use it. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Membership and billing

Creator Kamai is a paid membership: ₹499 per month plus GST at the prevailing rate (currently 18%, so ₹589 total). New members get a 14-day free trial: you add a payment method when you start (Razorpay authorises the mandate up front), but the first charge is deferred to the end of the 14 days. Cancel any time during the trial and you are never charged. After the trial it renews automatically every month via Razorpay, our payment processor, until you cancel; Razorpay sends the pre-debit notification required for recurring payments in India. If we ever haven't switched billing on for your account yet, everything simply works free until we do, and we announce it in the app first.

Cancelling: two taps on the Account page, any time. Cancelling stops the next charge; your access and data stay live until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds: we don't refund partial months, but if something went genuinely wrong (a double charge, a charge after you cancelled), email us and we'll put it right. Failed charges: if a renewal fails, Razorpay retries for a few days and we keep your access through a short grace window before it pauses; nothing is deleted. Price changes: any price change applies only from a future billing cycle, announced in the app at least 30 days ahead, and you can cancel before it takes effect. A tax invoice for your membership charge is available on request while automatic invoices are being built.

The founding offer

Founding members, the first cohort invited during the beta, keep their membership free for as long as their account exists. That's our thank-you for building this with us. Founding status is shown on your Account page.

Your data is yours

Everything you enter about your business (deals, invoices, payments, expenses, rates, stats) belongs to you. We host it so the tools work; we do not sell it, and we do not use your individual numbers for anything other than showing them back to you. You can export your records and you can delete your account, and everything with it, from the Account page at any time. If your membership lapses, your data is not deleted, it waits for you.

The Directory is shared

Reviews, ratings and contacts you contribute to the Directory are shared with other members so the community benefits, that is the point of it. Contributions must follow the community guidelines. You certify that any contact you contribute comes from your own lawful business dealings and is a work contact shared in a business capacity. If your account is closed, your directory reviews and contributed contacts are deleted with it.

What you may not do

  • Scrape, bulk-export, resell or share directory data outside the app, including contact details.
  • Use directory contacts for mass or automated outreach. Warm, individual pitching only.
  • Contribute contact details you did not come by through your own lawful business dealings.
  • Post reviews about experiences you did not have, or use the platform to defame anyone.
  • Share your account, probe the service for vulnerabilities, or interfere with other members' data.

Breaking these ends the account, and any credits or founding benefits with it; any remaining paid period is not refunded when an account is terminated for abuse. Anti-abuse monitoring exists and is part of the service.

Tools, not advice

The tax estimates, rate bands, deal checks, recovery drafts and document templates are rules of thumb built to keep you ahead, not professional advice. Numbers are estimates, templates are starting points, and your chartered accountant or lawyer makes the final call. We say this inside the tools too, because it is true.

Honest limits

This is a young product. It is provided as-is, and while we work hard on correctness (your money math is tested code), we cannot promise uninterrupted service or that every number is error-free. Our total liability to you is limited to the membership fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, except where Indian law does not allow liability to be limited. Keep your own records for anything critical.

Housekeeping

These terms are governed by Indian law. We may update them as the product grows; material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. If a part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Reach us any time through the grievance and contact routes below.

Grievances & contact

We take reports seriously and want them to reach us. If you use the app, the fastest route is the feedback button inside it, which reaches the team directly. For anything formal, or if you are not a member, email support@creatorkamai.com.

If you have been listed in the Directory and want your details removed, you can report the entry for immediate takedown from within the app, or email the address above and we will remove it. Grievance officer: Purandhar Gopalakrishnan (founder), at the email above. We acknowledge every grievance within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.
